While the festival officially begins November 10th with the arrival of the Grey Cup trophy in Vancouver, the fan festivities and festival site will open to the public at 4:00 p.m. just before the Kickoff Party on Wednesday, November 13 which will begin at 6:00 p.m PT.
Fans will get a chance to take in a vibrant performance by Vancouver-based and Juno-Award-winning DJ, Felix Cartal, live on the Payworks Entertainment Stage on Canada Pl Way (the Save-On-Foods Street Festival). Felix Cartal has three songs certified Platinum in Canada, hundreds of millions of listens across streaming platforms, praise from Billboard, and credits at major international EDM festivals!
In addition to a special appearance by the championship trophy itself, fans from across all CFL fanbases will get the opportunity to pop into the Vancouver Convention Centre (East) for a sneak-peek at the indoor fan activation zones from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Cartal will be the first of 22 artists to take to the Payworks Entertainment Stage for free outdoor live performances from 11:00 a.m.to 9:00 p.m. throughout the remainder of the Save-On-Foods Street Festival, which will take over Canada Pl Way between Thurlow St. and Burrard St.(November 14 to 16).
